Important Details to Note

Everyone is welcome to attend the JH Nordic Alliance annual Free Ski, Fat Bike, Snowshoe Day at Turpin Meadow Ranch so gather your family and friends and feel free to bring your dog along for the adventure too as long as they remain leashed at all times. You will need to bring your own skis and fat tire bikes to the event if you’re looking to get out and enjoy the surrounding terrain in between guided tours and free demonstrations. Event organizers encourage carpooling to this event as on-site parking is limited. In years past, the event has seen upward of 600 attendees at a time so sharing a vehicle can make your arrival less stressful. When you drive in on US 26-East, you’ll want to travel three miles past Moran Junction before turning left on Buffalo Valley Road. You’ll need to continue another 10 miles on the plowed road to reach Turpin Meadow Ranch. Keep in mind that this is the only route that leads to the ranch in the winter.
