Santa Meet-and-Greet Events in Jackson Hole

If you happen to be heading to Jackson Hole over the holidays with every intention of spending as much time as possible on the ski slopes, you’ll be able to pair your downhill fun with a Santa meet-and greet as well. That’s because the big man himself is scheduled to be at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort on Christmas Eve where he will perform his annual stunt of rappelling out of the Aerial Tram around 4:30 pm. There are also opportunities for little ones in your traveling crew to enjoy ice skating with Santa in the afternoon at the Village Commons Rink, making this holiday one they’re sure to remember! Snow King will welcome Santa on Christmas Day where he’ll be riding the lifts between 9:00 m and 11:00 am.

Another popular place to meet up with Santa in Jackson Hole with the entire family in tow this year is Town Square. Starting December 14 through Christmas Eve, Santa will be making appearances between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm at the StageStop Building. In addition to the Santa meet-and-greet experience, those who attend can count on spending time enjoying plenty of hot chocolate and cookies together. There’s also a Santa-direct mailbox set up outside the meet-and-greet venue so if your kids have a list they’d like to send his way, this is the time and place to drop it off. It’s good to note that if you include a return address, you’ll hear back from Santa too.

Book Your Tickets to a Great Holiday Show in Town

Each year over the holidays, Jackson Hole proudly hosts a lineup of Christmas performances across town that are designed to delight audiences. Cathedral Voices Chamber brings a free performance titled “Sounds of the Season” to the stage at The Center for the Arts Theater in December while The Silver Dollar Showroom typically presents a few 21 and up holiday shows that are sure to inspire. Over at the Jackson Hole Playhouse, you can catch the annual Christmas show between December 13, 2024, and January 4, 2025, titled “Christmas at the Playhouse.” This is a fun and family-friendly dinner theater experience with tickets starting at $105 for adults and $85 for kids ages 13 to 17. Those 5 to 12 who attend the performance can do so for $65. There are options to book tickets for a show-only experience if you have plans to enjoy a holiday dinner elsewhere in town beforehand.

Attend WinterFest

The arrival of the holidays in Jackson Hole also means the arrival of WinterFest.
