Warm Temps, Cold Beer – Spring Skiing is Here!
It’s March, and Spring is right around the corner. Days have already started to get longer and warmer, and Mother Nature has graced us with a couple of Spring storms that continue to refresh the slopes. Yet there is nothing quite like a spring day in the mountains. A bluebird sky, warm temps, corn snow, and a deck with views for an après cocktail make spring in the mountains one of our favorite times of the year.
To enjoy spring in Jackson Hole head on over to these locations for warm temps and cold beers:
The Handle Bar
The Handle Bar at The Four Seasons Resort offers an amazing slope-side happy hour spot with both indoor and outdoor seating. Cozy up by one of their fire pits on the patio or grab a picnic table inside and order a cocktail and some tuna poke nachos.
Built into the Tram dock with a deck and picnic tables basically underneath the Tram’s cables, this place is surrounded by skiing vibes. The positive energy from the Tram line coils around RPK3 and inside you’ll find a relaxed dining arrangement centered around a large fireplace and full bar. Any good après afternoon will spill onto the porch, where locals and visitors alike will be sharing popular dishes like nachos and the RPK3 family recipe meatball.
The Mangy Moose
Downhill, past the Tram and Teton Village Sports, lies Jackson Hole’s most famous après-ski establishment, the 50-year-old Mangy Moose. Named to countless lists of the best après-ski bars in the world, the Mangy Moose needs little introduction as a piece of the Jackson Hole skiing experience. Skiers all across the world have their own story about that time at the Mangy Moose, and each one of them starts off by telling how much it snowed the night before. Stop by for the live bands, the food, a drink, or even something from the market downstairs.
StillWest Brewery & Grill
At StillWest Brewery & Grill Outdoor seating is available anytime. The upstairs patio offers a covered seating area with heaters. Order snacks to share or dinner from the full menu as well as a full bar. Downstairs, the Tap Room and Fore Court offer guests outdoor seating with couches and high tops, while floor and ceiling heaters and a fireplace will keep you warm. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee from Brewhouse Coffee or a signature cold one from the Tap Room, open 4-9 p.m. Enjoy happy hour from 3-6 p.m. with $2 off beers and bar bites. Dogs are welcome in the Fore Court.
The Silver Dollar Bar
