Explore the Limited-Time Exhibits at the Jackson Hole History Museum

Those who find themselves enjoying time in Jackson Hole in early July of this year will be thrilled to find that their trip aligns with a new exhibit being showcased at the Jackson Hole History Museum. Make your way to 175 E. Broadway Avenue, and you can spend time exploring “Women Artists of the American West: Trailblazers at the Turn of the 20th Century.” This exhibit is only up through July 12, and you can see it for yourself Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. If your visit inspires you to want to learn more about the summer vacation destination you’ve come to explore, you’re in luck. The Jackson Hole History Museum will also be offering historic downtown walking tours throughout July on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 10:30 am. Tickets for this special tour can be purchased right at the front desk for what’s sure to be an experience that’s equal parts educational and fascinating.

Visit the National Museum of Wildlife Art

Yet another temporary exhibit that July visitors to Jackson Hole will have prime access to this summer is “Wildlife Photographer of the Year” over at the National Museum of Wildlife Art. This exhibit is only on through August 24, making July just the right time to get in on the experience for yourself. This exhibition is truly world-renowned, delighting and inspiring viewers for more than 60 years, and is currently on loan at the National Museum of Wildlife Art from the Natural History Museum in London. The exhibit puts a firm focus on exceptional images that capture the incredible and often fascinating behavior of wildlife while emphasizing species from around the world.

When you want your July getaway to Jackson Hole to include some time spent on health and wellness, Yoga on the Block has you covered. This free weekly yoga program kicks off on July 7, 2025, and will run through August 28, 2025, over at the Greenspace on the Block. Just steps from Town Square, you can enjoy working on your balance, focus, strength, and flexibility alongside like-minded yogis of all skill levels. The class is hosted for an hour at a time on Mondays at 5:30 pm, Wednesdays at 10:00 am, and Thursdays at 5:30 pm.

This is the time of year that the Concerts on the Commons event in Teton Village is in full swing, and it’s an entertaining gathering you’re going to want to be sure to add to your agenda. Head over to Teton Village every Sunday evening in July at 5:00 pm to enjoy free music in good company with plenty of great food to go around as well.

Include Friday Night Bikes to Your Lineup This Summer

Starting on July 4, 2025, visitors and locals of Jackson Hole alike can begin taking part in the Friday Night Bikes event over at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. This event will run through September 5, 2025, and is hosted every Friday from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Participants will enjoy $20 bike part lift tickets in this timeframe, as well as 50% off any downhill bike rental. After you’ve explored the trails at your own preferred pace and delightfully discounted rate, you can make your way to the Tin Can Cantina with family and friends to take advantage of two for one tacos on the menu as well as discounted margaritas. Live music is also ongoing on Fridays through July at the Tin Can Cantina, and there are yard games to enjoy too.

Make the Most of 4th of July Fun

Independence Day is always a big celebration in Jackson Hole, and if you’re here visiting this time of year, adding some or all of the events in Jackson Hole to your itinerary is worth your while. Things get underway with a pancake breakfast on Deloney Avenue near Town Square at 8:30 am, hosted by the local Lions Club and open to the public. There’s a 4th of July 10K run on the agenda this year that has a starting line at Owen Bircher Park in nearby Wilson and a Patriotic Pops concert slated to begin at 7:00 pm, being hosted at the Center for the Arts Park. Over at Snow King Mountain, festivities will be going strong starting at 7:30 pm and will include a variety of food trucks, family-friendly activities to enjoy, live music, and a dazzling fireworks display at 10:00 pm.
