Include Great Live Music into Your Lineup

August is most certainly a month for great musical performances in Jackson Hole, so if you’re looking for top entertainment to add to your itinerary, you can rest assured you’re in the right place. Make some time to enjoy swing music with dancing included every Sunday of the month from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm over at the Stagecoach Bar. Music will be performed by the Stagecoach Band, a group that has been entertaining audiences here successfully since 1969! This is a free music series for locals and visitors alike to enjoy each summer, with performances kicking off at 5:00 pm on Sundays. If you happen to find yourself more in the mood to provide entertainment to the masses during your August getaway, there’s an open mic night hosted at Cowboy Coffee on the first Thursday night of the month at 7:00 pm to consider attending as well. The 34th Annual Targhee Bluegrass Festival will kick off on August 8, 2025, and run through August 10 in nearby Alta at the resort, and is worth adding to your music-focused lineup this summer. Some of the headliners to look forward to are Joe Craven, Molly Tuttle and Golden Highway, alongside The Wood Brothers, to name a few.
